Advancing the Technology Choices for Up-coming CARB In-use On-Road Heavy Duty Vehicle Mission Reduction Regulations for Public/Private Fleet Operators

 

Conference and Expo Presented by Southern California Clean Cities Coalition was held Friday, April 18th 2008, in SCAQMD's Main Auditorium. Presenters addressed the In-Use On-road Heavy Duty Vehicle Private Operators with the intention to provide valuable information and alternative technology solutions, as well as financing opportunities to meet regulations imposed by the various agencies.

Event included a variety of presentations, discussions, and activities covering Alternative Fuels and related topics. CNGVA The Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance speaks on behalf of Canada's natural gas vehicle industry, advocating for greater use of advanced natural gas transportation solutions.

CNGVC CNGVC Role -- advanced California’s NGV industry -- helped to pass legislation allowing ILEV light-duty NGVs to use HOV lanes statewide; helped to establish federal and state funding for natural gas fueling infrastructure and incentives for new NGV purchases; and conducted a Clean School Bus campaign that led to $25 million in grants last year for replacing pre-1977 diesel and gasoline school buses with NGVs.

Propane Education and Research Council The purpose of the Propane Education & Research Council (Council) is to promote the safe, efficient use of propane as a preferred energy source. With the passing of the Propane Education and Research Act (PERA) in 1996 by Congress, the industry began to conduct a referendum among propane producers and marketers, who overwhelmingly approved the formation of the Council.
